FAQ
Flickering is often caused by:
Loose battery contacts – clean and tighten.
Low battery – recharge or replace.
Dirty threads on twisty lights – clean and apply a tiny amount of silicone grease.
If the problem persists, contact our support team.
Memory mode means the light will turn on at the last brightness setting you used, rather than defaulting to high or low every time. This is convenient if you always prefer a specific mode.
Most EverBrite rechargeable lights feature a low-battery indicator (flashing red light or dimming main beam). For non-rechargeable models, you'll notice a gradual decrease in brightness.
Follow these tips:
Avoid fully draining the battery regularly. Recharge when it drops to 20-30%.
Store lights at around 50% charge if not using for months.
Keep away from extreme heat or cold.
Use the included charging cable or a quality USB charger.
Definitely. The soft, even light from a COB side light is perfect for reading, soldering, repairing, camping tasks, or any activity that requires shadow-free illumination up close.
Yes. COB LEDs typically produce more light per watt than standard LEDs, giving you longer run times and brighter illumination with the same battery capacity.
COB (Chip-on-Board) technology places multiple LED chips directly on a circuit board, creating a large, even, and shadow-free light source. COB lights provide a wider beam angle and higher lumen density than traditional LEDs, making them ideal for work lights and area lighting.
Our zoomable flashlights feature a sliding or twisting head mechanism. Slide or rotate the head forward to focus the beam into a long-distance spotlight, and backward to widen it into a large floodlight for close-range illumination.
First, ensure the battery is charged or installed correctly. Check that the battery contacts are clean. If it's a rechargeable model, try a different USB cable and power source. If the problem persists, please contact our Customer Support team.
We recommend unplugging the light once it's fully charged. While our lights have overcharge protection, it's a good practice to disconnect them to maximize long-term battery health.
Most of our USB-rechargeable lights have an LED indicator that changes color (e.g., from red to green) or turns off when the battery is fully charged.
Several of our power station lanterns and larger work lights feature a built-in USB power bank, allowing you to charge your smartphone, GPS, or other USB devices on the go.
Most of our camping lanterns are built with high IP ratings for water resistance, making them perfect for outdoor use in various weather conditions.
Some of our flashlights feature a zooming or adjustable focus mechanism. Simply twist the head of the flashlight to change the beam from a wide flood to a focused spot.
Our compact, durable flashlights with a balanced lumen output and rechargeable battery are perfect for EDC. Look for models like the E012065/E011183 that are lightweight yet powerful.
Yes, most Everbrite lights feature multiple modes such as High, Medium, Low, Strobe, and SOS to adapt to various situations and conserve battery life.
We use a variety of high-quality power sources, including built-in Lithium-ion batteries (rechargeable via USB), and standard replaceable batteries (like AA or 18650). The product description will specify the battery type and whether it's user-replaceable.
Lumens measure the total amount of visible light output (brightness). Lux measures the intensity of light on a surface (illuminance). Beam Distance tells you how far the light can effectively reach. We provide all three metrics to give you a complete picture of a light's performance.
The IP Rating (e.g., IP65, IP67, IPX8) indicates the level of protection a light has against solids (like dust) and liquids (like water). The first digit refers to solid particle protection, and the second digit refers to moisture protection. A higher number means better protection. For example, an IP68 light is dust-tight and can be submerged in water.
